her children will rise up and call her blessed!

Aspermont, texas
The story begins in Aspermont, Texas, a tiny town tucked into the sands of West Texas, where the wind carries the sand and the smell of mesquite, the church parking lot was the only place you’d ever find a traffic jam, and the single blinking light downtown reminded us daily that we were small in number but rich in faith, family, and friendship.

The Little Cottage That Became Our Home
My daddy acquired land from his father and moved an old farmhouse onto it. When my mother saw the dilapidated structure—broken windows, rusted screens, peeling wood, a sagging roof—she sat in the car and cried.
But after praying for strength, she and my daddy rolled up their sleeves and began the long process of restoring it. For four months, they worked tirelessly—scraping, painting, repairing, replacing—until the house was transformed into a warm, beautiful home.
Every inch of that cottage bore their fingerprints under the finishes oo every surface. Every room held their love. Every memory was wrapped in laughter.

her lamp did not go out at midnight
Sexual intimacy is God designed, holy, and mutual.
A wife honors her husband through affection, availability, and partnership.
A husband honors his wife through love, tenderness, and selfgiving and affection.
Neither spouse “withholds” as a weapon or punishment.
Intimacy is part of the Proverbs 31 woman’s ministry of love, devotion, and care for her husband.

Discover the Life Behind the Real Cinderella Story
There are stories we read, and then there are stories we feel. Stories that reach past the surface and settle into the deepest places of the heart. The Real Cinderella Story is one of those rare stories—woven not from fantasy or fiction, but from faith, fire, and the fierce love of a woman who chose God’s purpose over the world’s expectations.
This is not the Cinderella of glass slippers and fairy godmothers. This is the Cinderella of Proverbs 31, where the woman who rises before dawn, who builds her home with wisdom, who loves with sacrifice, who stands when life collapses, and who discovers that the greatest miracles often come at midnight.
From the innocence of childhood dreams to the storms that shattered her world at age sixteen… From the early years of marriage and motherhood to the seasons of heartbreak, rebuilding, and redemption… From the quiet prayers whispered in the dark to the supernatural moments where God Himself stepped into the story… this book is a testimony of a life shaped not by circumstance, but by calling.
Every chapter reveals a woman who refused to let pain define her. A woman who clung to Scripture when everything familiar fell apart. A woman who raised her boys with excellence, purpose, and unwavering love. A woman who walked through storms that would have crushed others—and emerged with a deeper faith, a stronger voice, and a story worth telling.
But perhaps the most powerful thread woven through these pages is this: God was present in every moment. In the miracles that came exactly as prayed for… and in the miracles that came in ways no one expected.
This book is not merely a memoir. It is a blueprint for every woman who longs to honor God in her home, her marriage, her motherhood, and her identity. It is a reminder that the Proverbs 31 woman is not a myth, she is a calling. And it is proof that God still writes extraordinary stories with ordinary lives.
As you turn these pages, prepare to be challenged. Prepare to be encouraged. Prepare to see your own reflection in the struggles, triumphs, and quiet moments of surrender. And above all, prepare to encounter the faithfulness of a God who never wastes a tear, never abandons His daughters, and never stops writing miracles into the lives of those who trust Him.
This is her story. This is our story, and it’s God’s story. And now, by His grace, it becomes yours.

POSTHUMOUS ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Proverbs 31 stands as one of the most timeless portraits in all of Scripture, with a Divine blueprint of what it means to be a virtuous woman yesterday, today, and forever. It is not a chapter about perfection, nor is it a list of impossible expectations. It is a Spirit breathed picture of a woman whose life is anchored in reverence for God, expressed through her character, her work, her wisdom, and her love.
Contrary to modern misconceptions, the Proverbs 31 woman is not a passive, fragile, retiring figure hidden in the shadows of domestic life. She is a woman of strength. A woman of strategy. A woman of skill. A woman of influence. A woman whose hands are busy, whose mind is sharp, whose heart is compassionate, and whose spirit is anchored in the fear of the Lord. The Real Cinderella Story
The Real Cinderella Story is not a fairytale; it is a Divine assignment. It is the story of how God took the dreams of a little girl who longed to be a wife and mother and shaped them into a lifelong calling. It is the story of how He used my upbringing, my influences, my trials, and my triumphs to mold me into the woman He intended me to be.
This book is a testimony of perseverance, obedience, and surrender. It is a story of learning to trust God’s timing, God’s process, and God’s will. It is a reminder that the greatest miracles often come after midnight, after the breaking, after the waiting, after the surrender.
