Are You the Real Cinderella?
The Real Cinderella Story
PROVERBS 31: A Story of Service, Satisfaction & Sorrow
There are stories we read, and then there are stories we feel. Stories that reach past the surface and settle into the deepest places of the heart. The Real Cinderella Story is one of those rare stories—woven not from fantasy or fiction, but from faith, fire, and the fierce love of a woman who chose God’s purpose over the world’s expectations.
This is not the Cinderella of glass slippers and fairy godmothers. This is the Cinderella of Proverbs 31, where the woman who rises before dawn, who builds her home with wisdom, who loves with sacrifice, who stands when life collapses, and who discovers that the greatest miracles often come at midnight.
From the innocence of childhood dreams to the storms that shattered her world at age sixteen… From the early years of marriage and motherhood to the seasons of heartbreak, rebuilding, and redemption… From the quiet prayers whispered in the dark to the supernatural moments where God Himself stepped into the story… this book is a testimony of a life shaped not by circumstance, but by calling.
Every chapter reveals a woman who refused to let pain define her. A woman who clung to Scripture when everything familiar fell apart. A woman who raised her boys with excellence, purpose, and unwavering love. A woman who walked through storms that would have crushed others—and emerged with a deeper faith, a stronger voice, and a story worth telling.
But perhaps the most powerful thread woven through these pages is this: God was present in every moment. In the miracles that came exactly as prayed for… and in the miracles that came in ways no one expected.
This book is not merely a memoir. It is a blueprint for every woman who longs to honor God in her home, her marriage, her motherhood, and her identity. It is a reminder that the Proverbs 31 woman is not a myth, she is a calling. And it is proof that God still writes extraordinary stories with ordinary lives.
As you turn these pages, prepare to be challenged. Prepare to be encouraged. Prepare to see your own reflection in the struggles, triumphs, and quiet moments of surrender. And above all, prepare to encounter the faithfulness of a God who never wastes a tear, never abandons His daughters, and never stops writing miracles into the lives of those who trust Him.
This is her story. This is our story, and it’s God’s story. And now, by His grace, it becomes yours.

POSTHUMOUS ACKNOWLEDGMENT. IN LOVING MEMORY STEPHANIE ANN CLOWE - February 8, 1957 - March 30, 2026 The Real Cinderella Story is not a fairytale; it is a Divine assignment. It is the story of how God took the dreams of a little girl name Stephanie who longed to be a wife and mother and shaped them into a lifelong calling. It is the story of how He used my upbringing, my influences, my trials, and my triumphs to mold me into the woman He intended me to be. This book is a testimony of perseverance, obedience, and surrender. It is a story of learning to trust God’s timing, God’s process, and God’s will. It is a reminder that the greatest miracles often come after midnight, after the breaking, after the waiting, after the surrender. My prayer is that as you go on this journey with me, you will not simply read my story, but you will discover your own. I pray you will see the truths of God’s Word come alive in your heart. I pray you will feel a stirring, a longing, a holy desire to become the wife, mother, and woman God has called you to be. I pray you will recognize that the decisions we make—big and small—can either align us with God’s plan or delay the miracle He desires to bring into our lives, our marriages, and our homes. This book is not merely a memoir told by my husband. It is a wakeup call. A challenge. A roadmap. A testimony. A mirror. A guide. A journey. And at the center of it all is the truth that God still works miracles, especially in the midnight hour. As you turn the page, may The Real Cinderella Story awaken something deep within you. May it breathe life into your purpose. May it ignite your passion. And may it lead you to discover The Real Miracle at Midnight! To my husband, Steve — Thank you for loving me with a steady, unwavering devotion that has carried me through every season. Your faithfulness, your leadership, and your quiet strength have been the anchor of our home. You are the proof that God hears the prayers of a lady who dreamed of a man who would cherish her. You are my answered prayer. To my children — Kolby, Kyle, and Kendall — You are my legacy, my joy, and my greatest earthly calling. Thank you for letting me grow alongside you, for forgiving my imperfections, and for allowing me to be a part of your lives until the end. To my grandchildren — May this story be a light on your path and a reminder that God writes purpose into every generation that’s still found in Proverbs 31. To my family and friends — Thank you for praying for me, encouraging me, and believing. Your support has enabled me to share my life through these pages. To every woman who has ever felt unseen, unheard, or unworthy — or in need of a purpose, I pray The Real Cinderella Story makes an eternal impact on your life. Thank you for picking up this book. Discover The Miracle at Midnight
The story begins in Aspermont, Texas, a tiny town tucked into the sands of West Texas, where the wind carries the sand and the smell of mesquite, the church parking lot was the only place you’d ever find a traffic jam, and the single blinking light downtown reminded us daily that we were small in number but rich in faith, family, and friendship.
